Word of the Month
This month’s word of the month honors one of the recipients of The Bonehead of the Day Awards given by Jerry Lerman. In this particular instance,
Portsmouth City Council in the UK has ordered Mrs. Lourdes Maxwell to empty her 2 foot deep kiddie pool which she has used in her yard for 24 years because she doesn’t have a lifeguard and doesn’t have kiddie pool insurance (which doesn’t exist). This all based on a new health and safety edict issued by the city.
This is the same city that requires residents to get permission to use a barbecue.

Having said that, the word of the month for June 2008 is BOZONE. This is a noun which describes the substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright ideas from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign of breaking down in the near future.
